Design & Build Quality
The Ambrogio L60 Elite is a masterpiece of Italian engineering. At only 34 cm wide and 49 cm long, it is the most compact robot mower in our test – a true lightweight at just 5.5 kg. The green and black housing blends discreetly into the garden. Build quality is excellent: Ambrogio produces in Italy using high-quality plastics and stainless steel for the cutting decks.
Mowing Performance
The 4-blade system is unique in this class: four stainless steel blades rotate on a disc for a particularly clean cut across different grass types. The cutting width of 180 mm is appropriate for the compact size. The slope capability of 45% is remarkable for such a compact device.
Battery & Charging
The removable Li-Ion battery with 4.5 Ah charges fully in just 60 minutes and provides a mowing duration of approx. 80 minutes – a good balance of charging and mowing time. The rain sensor reliably returns the L60 Elite to the charging station when it rains.
Verdict
The Ambrogio L60 Elite is the ideal robot mower for owners of complex gardens with narrow passages, multiple levels, and demanding slopes. Its compact design and high build quality make it an excellent choice.
