What is the MOVA N1?
The MOVA N1 (a Dreame sub-brand) is a very compact window cleaning robot that clings to vertical glass panes with 8,000 Pa of suction power and evenly wets the glass via a dual-wing mist-spray system with four nozzles. Rotating microfibre cleaning pads and AI-supported path planning with Z and N patterns are designed to deliver streak-free results – according to COMPUTER BILD, the best value for money in the 2026 window cleaning robot test. The device can be controlled either via a button on the unit itself, the included remote control or the MOVAhome app. The N1 works corded (5.8 m power cable) and is additionally protected against falls by a 3.4 m safety rope, an emergency battery and a 12-level safety system. At 1.3 kg and only about 6 cm tall, it is significantly lighter and flatter than most rival models.
With the N1, MOVA (a Dreame sub-brand) positions itself as a compact entry point into automated window cleaning: 8,000 Pa of suction, a dual-wing mist-spray system and a 12-level safety system combine with a low weight of 1.3 kg. For clarity: the sibling model MOVA T1 Station relies on a BoostBay wash station with hot water and corner brushes and costs around €499 – shoppers searching online for "MOVA window cleaning robot" often come across both models.

Cleaning with 8,000 Pa, Dual Mist Spray & AI Path Planning
Here's how the MOVA N1 works on your window – compact, corded and with app connectivity.
Dual-Wing Mist-Spray System
Four nozzles finely mist water onto the glass, and rotating microfibre pads then lift the dirt and moisture back off.
8,000 Pa Suction
With 8,000 Pa, the N1 grips vertical, smooth, sealed glass surfaces reliably – including tiles, marble and shower glass.
AI Path Planning
Z and N patterns aim to cover the glass as completely as possible – selectable via six cleaning modes in the app or on the remote.
12-Level Safety System
A fall sensor, vacuum monitoring, an emergency battery (approx. 30 min) and a 3.4 m safety rope are designed to prevent the unit from falling.
Cleaning Performance, Features & Controls
Water Tank and Cleaning Modes
The 120 ml water tank feeds the dual-wing mist-spray system with four nozzles and, according to the manufacturer, lasts for up to approx. 32 m² per fill. Via the MOVAhome app, the remote or the button on the device you can choose six modes: deep, quick, thorough, edge, spot cleaning and a manual mode. In practice, according to tests, the edge area in particular remains the weak spot – about 0.6 cm along the edges is not reached, which is a design-related issue found in virtually all window cleaning robots.
Controls: App, Remote or Button
The N1 can be controlled via the MOVAhome app over Wi-Fi; a remote control and a button directly on the device are also included. That makes the N1 more flexible than many battery models that run on a remote alone. AI path planning with Z and N patterns handles the route across the glass.
Noise Level
The manufacturer states under 72 dB(A); independent tests measure 60–67 dB(A). That makes the N1 one of the quieter window cleaning robots and lets you run it during the day without needlessly disturbing the neighbours.
Glass Compatibility
The N1 works on vertical, smooth, sealed glass surfaces, but also on tiles, marble, mirrors and shower glass. According to tests, weaknesses appear on steep slopes and roof windows, where the orientation sensors reach their limits.

In this round-up the N1 is the cheapest window cleaning robot with app support and, at 1.3 kg, also the lightest. With 8,000 Pa of suction it leads its price class – but it has to live with the cable: the lubluelu CHYW201 and the station models from Ecovacs and Dreame run on battery or a station and are therefore more flexible on windows without a socket. For standard vertical windows with a reachable socket, the N1 remains the most attractively priced app option.
Who Is the MOVA N1 For?
Budget-conscious households with normal-sized, vertical windows looking for a light and affordable window cleaning robot with app connectivity – and who accept a power socket near the window as well as manually touching up the edges.

FAQ About the MOVA N1
Our Verdict
The MOVA N1 shows how much window cleaning robot you get for around €170–200: 8,000 Pa of suction, a fine dual-wing mist spray, six modes and, with the MOVAhome app, genuine app control – far from a given at this price. Add a low weight of 1.3 kg and a comprehensive 12-level safety system. The flip side: the N1 is corded, only cleans up to about 0.6 cm from the edges and offers neither a wash station nor automatic pad cleaning. If you have a socket near the window and can live with touching up the edges, you get one of the cheapest app-capable window cleaning robots on the market.
