What the Whole Series Has in Common

Egret builds all X models on the same platform – you always get these four features.

12.5-Inch Gravel Tires

Considerably larger pneumatic tires than the 10-inch competition: more comfort on cobblestones, gravel and curbs – plus a suspension fork with 20 mm of travel.

German Road Approval (ABE)

All models comply with Germany's e-scooter regulation (eKFV) and hold a general type approval (ABE) from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority: 20 km/h, license plate holder, road-legal lighting with brake light – you only need to add the insurance sticker.

Certified Turn Signals

Turn signals at the handlebar ends as standard – the X Prime and X Ultra add rear signals as well. No more hand signals needed, and significantly more safety in city traffic.

Safe Battery & App

Built-in batteries certified to EN 50604-1, IPX7-protected, with a 2-year battery warranty. Plus a PIN immobilizer and the Egret app for updates and locking.

Which Egret X Is Right for Me?

City commuters with short routes (under 20 km/day)

The Egret X Core+ (from approx. €849 MSRP, sometimes cheaper in stores) offers the full premium platform with a 500 W motor and 55 km of range – you only miss out on rear turn signals and the strongest acceleration.

The all-rounder for almost everyone (20–40 km/day)

The Egret X Prime (since January 2026: €899 MSRP) combines the powerful 1,350 W peak motor with 41 Nm, 65 km of range and the complete dual turn-signal system – several reviews call it the “sweet spot” of the series.

Frequent riders & long-distance commuters (30+ km/day)

The Egret X Ultra (since January 2026: €1,099 MSRP) covers up to 90 km with its 865 Wh battery – an independent test measured a real-world 81 km. In return, it weighs 26 kg and takes around 9 hours to charge.

Our advice Calculate your weekly distance: up to 100 km/week, the Core+ is enough. Want rear turn signals and power reserves? → Prime. Over 150 km/week or rare charging? → Ultra.
